The team and facilities at our Parramatta campus, formally known as the UNE FutureCampus is rebranding to UNE Sydney. This change will take place from 1st February 2018.
Why the name change?
The name UNE Sydney better communicates who we are and what we offer to the wider University community and Sydney region.
The 2018-2020 business plan identifies Sydney as a key growth area for the University to expand and diversify our student load and income. Using Sydney in the name will assist in branding our high quality facilities available in the Greater Sydney region.
UNE Sydney will also reflect our future focus which moves us from a purely domestic role to one that incorporates and provides a significant base for a strong international presence in the region. Sydney is the main Australian study destination for International Students and UNE Sydney will be used to target specific international markets in order to meet the goals of the business plan.
What does this mean?
The team at UNE Sydney will still operate under the PVC External Relations Portfolio and continue to provide high level support services to students and academics who use the facilities.
The operating hours are seven days per week with extended hours into the evenings Monday to Thursday – allowing our busy students more opportunities to access support services, collaborate and network with fellow students while they juggle their work, study and life balance.
UNE Sydney takes pride in serving the needs of our students. We deliver an engaging and enhanced student experience supporting students as they work towards successfully completing their program of study.
