An interactive poetry workshop “Sensing Spring: Smell, Touch and Taste the Season” with John Ryan is on this Saturday, 21 October 2017 from 10.30am-1.30pm at NERAM, with special guest Maria Hitchcock. 

The special guest is local plant Expert Maria Hitchcock, author of the book A Celebration of Wattle.

The poetry workshop, open to beginners and advanced poets alike, will focus on writing the senses of smell, touch and taste through practical exercises designed to release our inner nature poets.

In keeping with the theme of the workshop series, we’ll consider the senses and poetry in relation to springtime in Armidale. Click here to register through the New England Writers’ Centre.
