Luke Fowler, UNE graduate and now working in Student Support, recently co-authored a report entitled A Federal Charter of Human Rights: Would it make any difference, which was launched by the President of the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), Gillian Triggs, last week.
The report is the result of a series of discussions between the AHRC and the Centre for Innovative Justice (CIJ) about how law students might contribute to discussions about human rights in the community. It was prepared by RMIT Juris Doctor students under the supervision of staff at the Centre for Innovative Justice.
