Clarivate Analytics will be on campus to hold information sessions for academic staff members on how to use publication and citation data to promote their research careers. Session will take place on Thursday 4 May at the University Library.

In October 2016, Clarivate Analytics took ownership of the IP & Science Business of Thomson Reuters.  Web of Science (WoS), and the benchmarking and analytics tool, Incites, fall under this banner.  Clarivate is an major provider of publication and citation data for knowledge discovery and evaluation of research.

The publication and citation data available from Clarivate Analytics products is sourced from peer-reviewed international scholarly journals, conference proceedings and selected books.  Coverage from both Web of Science and other specialised databases allows focused research in all disciplines across the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities.

Members of the University community interested in this content are warmly invited to attend the information sessions on:

• Session 1 – Selecting Journals from 10.30am to 11.15am
• Session 2 – Developing and Using a Researcher Profile from 11.30am to 12pm
• Session 3 – InCites Toolbox from 12.30pm to 2pm
• Session 4 – Advanced Incites Benchmarking Institutions from 2.15pm to 3.30pm
