L-R: Mutuota Kigotho, Marina Buschinski, Jost Bade, Eduard Nikel, Yvonne Kubeck and Werner Efing

A team of professionals from Germany visited UNE as part of a group study exchange program this week as guests of the Rotary Clubs of Armidale. They were shown around campus by staff members (and Rotarians) Lewis Gratton and Mutuota Kigotho.

Nowadays, no visit to UNE is complete without dropping in at the Natural History Museum.  The group also toured Booloominbah, SportsUNE as well as various academic and operational areas. All spoke highly of UNE and were pleasantly surprised that a small regional university had so much to offer.

The German consisted of  Marina Buschinski, a product coordinator and manager interested in sports administration; Jost Bade who has a degree in Business Administration and currently works in human resources; Eduard Nikel, who works at a Cereal Research Institute with the interesting job title of Head of Experimental Bakery; Yvonne Kubeck, currently working as a product and service manager and also very interested in sports administration and Werner Efing, a lawyer by profession.

The team is currently in Armidale for another twenty four hours before heading to Inverell, Coonabarabran, and Laurieton.
