Congratulations to the UNE IT support team who, for four out of the last five years (2010-2015), have come first in the Student Service Quality Survey, with – in 2015 – over 86% of students saying that they are happy or very happy with the support they have received.
Every year, UNE takes part if an IT Service Quality Survey that measures both staff and student satisfaction with the IT support they have received in that year, whether that’s on the phone, by email, by remote support or face-to-face.
It is run sector wide and most unis in Australia and NZ take part in the staff support survey. The student survey usually covers around 20 universities.
This year UNE shares the first spot with the team at Deakin University
The team comprises of Michael Hillard (Team Leader), Jacob Hofkamp, Diana Helmrich, Richard Wilson (all in the photo), Tammy Tanner and Samuel Haqq (who were on leave when the photo was taken).
They are supported by a team of casuals comprising Isacc Mestrom-Jones ( in the photo) and five other staff members who work evenings/weekends or as back up for the team as needed during the day.
