UNE’s Agile App development team has had a big win with the recent launch of RamSelect Plus at LambEx 2016.  RamSelect Plus incorporates the current intuitive and easy-to-use design, but with improved layout, artwork and functionality.

In late 2015, the Cooperative Research Centre for Sheep Industry Innovation (Sheep CRC) had funded the establishment of a livestock application development team in UNE’s School of Science & Technology. The team justified the CRC’s confidence by producing a major industry application within six months.

Positive feedback from livestock industry representatives confirms that the team has the necessary skills and ingenuity to achieve significant R&D impact through the development of software applications, as progressive research outcomes are delivered directly to the audience faster and cheaper than with more traditional product development methods.

The team is already working on their next job with the first app designs for a wellbeing and productivity program to be tested before the end of the year.
