We would like to invite all UNE staff to a demonstration of Finance One Requisitions at the Lewis Lecture Theatre 2.00 pm Monday 1 August.
The Strategic Procurement Group are working hard to bring buyers at UNE a simpler, faster and more streamlined buying process in Finance One.
In 2016, we are giving Finance One a much needed facelift, it not only looks better, it works better and saves you time! The first change will only affect purchase requisitions; purchase orders and payments will follow through the year.
We will be launching this upgrade on Monday 1st August, and we’d love to share with you and demonstrate the first update to Finance One
Here are just a few of the key requisition changes we think you will love..
- You will be able to create several Purchase Orders across different suppliers in a single requisition
- Easily track where requisitions are up to
- Easily see all of your current work on your home screen (no searching!)
- Delegate your role while you are on leave and share your screen with Procurement if you are having problems
- The new look is also hosted on a web platform rather than Citrix, providing both users and approvers mobile accessibility and enabling Approvers to view and approve with a single click-through email.
Following the demonstration, all UNE Finance One users will need to attend one of the 90 minute training sessions which will be available up to the go-live date of Monday 29th August. This will ensure that you are ready to use the new system on Monday 29th August.
