This program is for all UNE staff. It is an excellent 2 day workshop and it is specifically aimed at dramatically improving communications, especially the critical conversations that can have long term effects. Specifically:
- How to share facts, ideas, feelings and opinions candidly and without trepidation
- How to maintain your focus on objectives and still maintain an effective dialogue, especially when emotions run high
- Increase effectiveness in resolving performance issues & increase your leadership skills
- In short, skills that enable you to open dialogue around challenging topics and increase the highest quality of decision making
The program gives strong robust skills for excellent communication while not excluding or overriding contrary views.
Please pick up a workbook from Human Resources and complete a questionnaire prior to the workshop.
Manuals will be available for use in the training room setting for the day.
Lunch is provided. A basic morning/afternoon is provided ( tea/coffee/biscuits/ fruit mix/soup), you are welcome to bring along other food if required.
