This 1½ hour session has been designed as refresher for staff who may have recently commenced with the University or are current University staff who have extensive experience in recruitment and selection processes, but have not received UNE selection panel accreditation.

There is an expectation that participants will have familiarised themselves with the current UNE Recruitment Policy and associated Procedures prior to the session.

 

This interactive session will refresh:

  • The principles of equity and merit
  • Shortlisting
  • Behavioural interviewing techniques
  • Interviewing
  • Feedback
  • Candidate care

A course workbook will be provided at the session.

 

Staff wishing to attend the workshop can express their interest to the Workforce Strategy and Development Unit od@une.edu.au, and include details of prior recruitment and selection panel experience.
