Professor Young has been tasked by the University of Queensland (UQ) to review their research and teaching activities across Agriculture and Food Science.

Professor Young will Chair an international review panel made up of Deans from UC Davis and Nottingham University and internal UQ Professors.

Last year Professor Young completed a detailed review of Agricultural research for the University of Western Australia and will now take this experience into the May review of UQ’s activities.

“These reviews are challenging and complex, but always interesting. They provide an external, and international, assessment of a wide range of activities related to the agri-food business,” Professor Young said.
