The Rhodes Scholarship 2016 – New South Wales

Tenable at the University of Oxford from September 2016

One candidate is selected for the Rhodes Scholarship for each state each year. There are also three Australia at Large Rhodes Scholarships which may be awarded to candidates from any state or territory each year. What are the qualities required of candidates?

* You will be an Australian citizen and will have been resident in Australia for at least five of the last ten years and you will not have reached your twenty sixth birthday by 1st October 2016.

* You will have an outstanding academic record leading to a first class honours degree (or equivalent) at the end of this year or you will already have attained that qualification.

* A record of community service.

* Proven leadership abilities.

* An enthusiastic sports participant.

 

What are the benefits of the Scholarship?

* Return airfares to London.

* All fees paid by the trust.

* A yearly stipend.

* Scholars may be funded for up to three years.
