Invitation to attend the graduation ceremonies: October 2014

Academic staff are invited to attend the graduation ceremonies for October 2014 and take part in the Academic Procession.

Dates/time:

• All ceremonies will start at 10:30am

Location:

• All ceremonies will be held on the southern lawns of Booloominbah.
• Robing for the Ceremonies will take place in the Dining Room of Booloominbah.
• Please assemble at 10:00am for refreshments and the procession will form at 10:15am.

Wet weather

Please be aware that should the weather be wet, the ceremonies will move into Lazenby Hall.  Depending on numbers of attendees, the ceremonies may be split into morning and afternoon and we will require academic staff for both ceremonies.  The decision to move into Lazenby is made on the morning of the ceremony.  Robing will take place in dressing rooms below the Lazenby stage.

Academic Dress

The dress standard for procession is academic dress.  It is our expectation that academics will supply their own academic dress.  If you are intending to hire academic dress from Services UNE, this should be arranged two weeks in advance of the ceremony. There is no hire charge for staff.
