The UNE Business School’s China Study Program, provides students with the opportunity to get first-hand knowledge and experience of how, both the legal system and business community works, in overseas jurisdictions. One of the distinctive aspects of this program is, students undertake work as if they were employed by the relevant industry. For example, when they write reports, they write them as though they were writing a report for their boss!

Peter Lloyd, who is a professional doctoral student with the AgLaw Centre, is currently escorting these students around China. Whilst completing his PhD, Peter is working with the UNE Business School, as the International Program Facilitator, to enable students to have these amazing opportunities!

You will be pleased to know, the team at the UNE School of Law, are looking to provide similar opportunities for law students. We are currently looking at the results of the survey, which was distributed to students. We were unsurprised to learn, law students are keen to see a similar program offered through the School of Law. In the meantime, check out the UNE School of Law’s international partnerships page.
