UNE is launching a new Peer Review of Teaching (PRT) program, with an initial pilot phase commencing in May 2025. The pilot is timed to support the 2025 academic promotions round and is now open for expressions of interest.
Peer Review of Teaching is a key means of evidencing quality teaching, and offers an opportunity to gain structured, collegial feedback on your teaching practice. The PRT @ UNE program has been developed as part of UNE’s core learning and teaching quality ecosystem, and supports a range of key initiatives such as:
- Academic promotion
- Teaching awards
- Accreditation programs such as AHE Fellowship
- Continuous improvement and quality enhancement processes
The PRT @ UNE program provides a supported structure for peer review with a range of information and guidance available. The review can be tailored to suit a range of online, hybrid and campus-based contexts and draws on sector standards for quality teaching as well as frameworks such as UNE’s 16 Elements.
To learn more about the program and submit an expression of interest, head to the PRT @ UNE myLearn site and self-enrol. For further enquiries about the program, contact the program coordinator Dr Kashmira Dave.
