The myLearn upgrade was completed successfully on Friday, 4th October which took us from the previous (4.1) version of Moodle to the most recent one (4.4).
The upgrade was necessary to keep myLearn up-to-date and free from issues, and ensures that UNE staff and students are able to access the latest features. While many changes in the ‘back end’ will go unnoticed by most people, there are a few key updates that you and your colleagues will likely notice in the new version. These include changes to:
- Icons and visual design
- Edit Mode, including Bulk Actions and Direct Editing
- Quiz Features, including Quiz Grade Sections and Ordering Question Type
- Grader Report and Gradebook
We have put together a page in Teaching Online with details on each of those changes. Some of these features should make using myLearn easier and more intuitive, and should save you time when managing your teaching sites.
