A final reminder that UNE’s agreement with Udemy will end at the end of August. If you are using Udemy courses in your myLearn sites, please remove them or update them with alternative content before that date.

I had multiple Udemy courses in progress related to my current studies at UNE. I was only made aware that our access would be suspended when I could no longer log in and contacted technical support at UNE, and was forwarded al link to this blog post.
How is it that the communication on this change, which affected many students has been so poor as the only way we find out is to chance upon this blog post, deep in the UNE website, or find out after the fact when we cant log in? UNE had access to all the students that were using the service and could easily have emailed us in advance.
Furthermore, what a loss! This was a great resource that set UNE ahead of other institutions and assisted students with additional education related to their studies. Why were students not contacted and given their opinion on whether or not the service was valuable?
Clearly those responsible for change management in this project have not performed their duties well.
