EchoVideo provides a comprehensive analytics toolset that enables you to monitor and analyse student engagement with your video/media content. By using the features such as heatmaps and detailed view statistics, you can gain a deeper understanding of how your students are engaging with video materials, allowing for better data-driven decisions to support how to enhance your content.
How to access your analytics
Option 1: Via your echoVideo Library
- Login to EchoVideo
- Login to echoVideo via your myLearn Unit (link from the Profile menu) or via the web app at https://echo360.net.au
- Click on Library tab
- Locate the video, click on the ellipsis ‘…’ icon and select view
- Under the video, click on the tab Analytics.
Option 2: Via the Course/Unit
- Login to EchoVideo Login to echoVideo via your myLearn Unit (link from the Profile menu) or via the web app at https://echo360.net.au
- Click on Courses tab
- Search for the Course (unit) you wish to access e.g. UNIT123
- To access the Analytics:
- For the Class Analytics – Click on the Analytics tab
- For the specific Video analytics– Click on the media icon and select Details in the row next to the video in your list
Heatmap of Views
The Heatmap lets you see what parts of the video/media are viewed most often.
To turn it on, Click the Settings icon, then toggle ON the Heatmap option as shown in the below figure (it is off by default).
