As part of our ongoing work to promote SoTL practice and recognition of teaching excellence at UNE, the Academic Development team facilitate a range of programs that draw on peer review and advisory, from the AHE Fellowship prorgram and the Peer Review of Teaching (PRT) program currently in development, to teaching awards and events like the Learning & Teaching Symposium

To build effective and sustainable programs and enhance the UNE academic community, we are establishing a pool of academic mentors and peer reviewers and are now seeking expressions of interest to participate. Academic staff at all levels are invited to register – there is no academic level requirement or requirement for prior experience with fellowship or PRT programs to participate. Reviewers and mentors will be provided with standards, criteria and guidance to support effective feedback. There’s no advance workload commitment required to register, with requests managed on an as-needs basis.

If you would like to register your interest in participating, just fill out the EOI form:

If you have any questions about the peer reviewer or mentor roles, or the AHE and PRT programs, please contact Dr Kashmira Dave.
