A brief update on Project Uplift and its three main workstream – Technical, Unit Uplift and Capability Build.
Technical:
We are on track for the launch of myLearn for T3/2024. myLearn will still be a Moodle-based platform, but will have a significantly changed look and navigation. Testing of myLearn is currently underway and we are hoping to share more details and access to a test environment soon.
A presentation previewing the myLearn environment and introducing our partner, OpenLMS, is scheduled for Wednesday, 26th July.
Unit Uplift:
Unit uplift is progressing. All T3 units have gone through an evaluation process, and we have commenced the evaluations of the next tranche (T1/2024 units). Thank you to everyone who has been involved in the conversations and has worked with us on creating the workplans for each unit. The second part of the process, the implementation of the workplans, is also underway with work on the 5th (of 7) group of T3/2023 units starting this week.
Capablility Build
- Guidance Notes for 16 Elements created and published.
- Learning and Teaching Symposium focus on uplift and 16 Elements
- Relaunch of Teaching Online for T3/2024
What’s next?
If you are a unit coordinator, we will have been in touch already about your T3 unit. If your next teaching unit is in T1, you will soon be invited to meet with the team to discuss the next steps – look out for the email and let us know what time works for us to meet with you.
