The formal exam period for T2 commences on Monday 26th September and we are gearing up again to support students and staff have a smooth and low-stress experience.
While our exam supervision provider offers extensive tech support for students, it is often anxiety or simple misunderstandings that lead to student complaints. The Exams & eAssessment Team can provide immediate support for any student who might encounter difficulties during their exam (including replacing lost time) but only if we are aware of them.
To help get students to the right support when they need it, you can post the following message to your unit, encouraging them to make contact with us (not IT Service Desk, not Student Connect Call Centre) as soon as they realise they might need help.
The same support applies for staff – keep calm and contact us via x2145 or olxforstaff@une.edu.au and we’ll be right there to support you.
Hopefully by now you have booked your exam time, checked for any technical issues and worked out how to access your exam by following the instructions in the ‘Online Supervised Exam Information’ section of this unit’s Moodle site or at https://moodle.une.edu.au/course/view.php?id=15183
Please remember that the exam supervisor acts on behalf of UNE, and they are following the instructions that UNE has provided to them. They can also assist you with any difficulty. Just use the chat-box to communicate with them in real time during your exam.
If you are having trouble booking, trouble connecting with your supervisor or have unresolvable issues during your exam please contact the Exams & eAssessment Team directly and as soon as you realise you need help. You can ring us even during your exam!

You can also request that your exam supervisor make contact with a UNE Exams team member up until 1am each evening and weekend during the exam period for immediate assistance.
