On the 21st and 22nd of October Paul Martin and Oliver Knox headed to Narrabri to present papers on NRM governance and Cotton production at the NW LLS productivity summit .

The event was attended by about 30 regional delegates and LLS staff and facilitated by Jeremy Cape. The papers presented at the summit and that formed the basis of the discussions over the two days are available by clicking on the following titles. I would strongly encourage you to read Paul’s on governance and Tony Sorensen’s on Adaptive communities as their words capture a clear need for change and compelling arguments to justify a rethinking of previous systems in the area of natural resource management and regional productivity..

You can download any of the discussion papers by clicking on the highlighted titles; cotton production, livestock production, NRM governance and Towards Adaptive Communities.
