Tristan Taylor has been awarded a UNE Research Seed Grant for his research project: Genocide and Mass-violence in the Pre-Modern West: A Comparative Study. This follows on from his  successful UNE Partnerships Early Career Development Award Grant in 2013-14 on genocide in the Roman world. Tristan will use the grant to undertake research in the United States and will be presenting aspects of his research at the upcoming Australasian Society for Classical Studies Conference in Adelaide in January, and the Classical Association in the UK in April.
