Academic Development is delighted to share the news that UNE staff have received two Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) Citations for outstanding contributions to student learning. Join me in congratulating Dr Miriam Neigert and the Clinical Psychology Team on their recent AAUT success.

Dr Miriam Neigert received an Individual Citation “For Humanising Assessment by Implementing Portfolios in German Language Units as an Authentic and Personalised Approach to Assessing Language Learning”.

Receiving a Team Citation was the Clinical Psychology Team “For an accessible and standardised practicum: The development and implementation of a simulated placement in professional psychology training”. The team comprises Dr Kylie Rice, Ms Sarah Sherratt, A/Prof Suzie Cosh, A/Prof Clara Murray, Dr. Amanda Jeffreys, Dr Hayley Farrell, Ms Alice Hone, Dr Cassandra Sundaraja, and Dr Phillip Tully.
