Boyce Chartered Accountants are continuing to provide support to aspiring accountants. Students at the UNE Business School are encouraged to apply for the Tony Quirk Accounting Scholarship.

The Tony Quirk Scholarship is open to any university student seeking a career in accounting and enrolled in a relevant degree including accounting, business, commerce and agribusiness. The TQ Scholarship was created to honour the memory of Tony Quirk, a former Boyce Director. Boyce, in conjunction with the University of New England (UNE) Business School (where Tony studied), developed the program to provide accounting students with financial support and a clearly defined career path. Three years on, the scholarship is now open to students at all universities.

Successful candidates who are accepted into the scholarship program will receive $2,000 during second and third years of study, a $500 textbook allowance in the first year of study, access to paid summer vacation placements and also be guaranteed a graduate position with Boyce Chartered Accountants once they complete their degrees.

The scholarship program enables students to experience the every-day work and life of a regionally based accountant, helping to address the growing needs for skilled graduates in regional Australia.

Boyce Chartered Accountants is ranked as the #1 Regional Accounting Firm in Australia in the AFR’s Top 100 Accounting Firms list for 2018, and the third highest female led firm under $50m. Boyce employs over 130 team members across 5 regional locations – Cooma, Dubbo, Goulburn, Moree and Wagga Wagga.

Applications for this scholarship are now open and will close on the 31st of March 2019. For further information contact Boyce HR Manager, Amy Hannaford at careers@boyceca.com or call 02 6971 0600. To complete an application form follow this link: https://www.boycecareers.com/a-career/scholarships
