UNE Library, the Oorala Aboriginal Centre & UNE Life are running a photography competition. Entries are open from Monday 31 March to Monday 9 June.
UNE students study in rural and urban environments all across Australia. Discover the First Nations’ Country on which you study and share your story with us.
This year the focus is on local icons – places, objects or people.
Enter this competition by submitting an original photograph of a local icon. In less than 100 words tell us the story of your local icon (optional).Include the name of the First Nations’ Country and the local council name (shire, region or city) for your chance to win.
Winners will receive;
- a $100 voucher from the UNE Bookshop
- an A3 print of your winning image
- a copy of local Armidale photographer Terry Cooke’s book ”Mount Duval”.
- the opportunity to have your work exhibited on campus and online.
