Holiday Season Operating Times 2021
The University of New England will be closed from the afternoon of Thursday, 23rd December 2021 through to Tuesday, 4th January 2021. Here is an overview of the closures over the break.
Student Experience:
The Student Experience Team is available until 5:00pm, December 23rd. You can reach the team on 02 6773 2000, through Live Chat or by email through AskUNE. Any emails received through the closure period will be responded to on return from 9:00am, January 4th.
Security:
Campus Security remains available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can contact Security on (02) 6773 2099.
Crisis Support:
UNE After-Hours Crisis Support Line is available through the break on: 1300 661 927. Alternatively, you can text 0488 884 169.

Regional and Metro Study Centres:
UNE Sydney – Closed from 5pm, 23rd December through until 9am, 4th January.
UNE Tamworth – The Student Support Desk will be closed from 5pm, Friday 17th December until 9am, 4th January. The Study Centre will remain open to students for study by card access only during this time.
UNE Taree – The Student Support Desk will be closed from 5pm, 23rd December through until 9am, 4th January. The Study Centre will remain open to students for study by card access only until 10.30pm, 23rd December and will re-open at 6.30am, 3rd January.
Library:
Open until 5:00pm, December 23rd – Reopens 8:00am, January 4th. For further details, please see the UNE Library Homepage.
IT Support:
Staff and Students:
Friday 24th December 2021 – 9:00 to 5:00pm (IT Casual support)
25th December 2021 – 3rd January 2022 – UNE Closed
Tuesday 4th January 2022, return to normal operating hours.
IT Support operating hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 to 8:00pm; Weekends: 9:00 to 5:00pm
Incidents should be raised via our service portal: https://une.service-now.com/sp_it, where we will have emergency-only staff on during the Christmas closure period to monitor queues.
