Teaching for Trimester 3, 2021 began yesterday, October 25th.
If you are already enrolled, be sure to log into your Moodle subject sites this week to plan out your trimester and get started with your content.
If you’re not yet enrolled, it’s time to ensure that your study plans are in place for the trimester. Enrolment for Trimester 3 will close next Monday, November 1st. If you are intending to study in Trimester 3, you can follow the steps here to add units to your enrolment.
If you’re a new UNE student, make sure to work through your UNE101 Moodle unit and get familiar with the Library, Academic Skills Office, IT Support available and more.
Another thing to keep in mind is that all students need to complete the Academic Integrity Module. If you haven’t done so, you won’t be able to submit your assignments. So make sure to complete this as soon as possible!
If you still need textbooks – head over to the UNE Life Bookshop Online to order what you need!
If you need assistance with enrolment and beginning your studies, please get in contact with our Student Connect team through AskUNE. Please be aware we have a very high level of enquiries currently to it’s important to anticipate a wait time on the phone and via askUNE. If you had been thinking about submitting an enquiry soon, best to try get this submitted in askUNE as soon as possible.
Trimester 3 may have started but the materials for both my subjects are not up to date. Quizzes for topic 1 are closed, information is not uploaded for use and both subjects are thoroughly disorganised in that respect. It is hard to be enthusiastic about Accounting Theory & Research to begin with, but having out of date materials and so many mistakes (grammatical and spelling) in slides is terrible. The same can be said of Professional Ethics as it has the same Professor in charge this time around and materials have been adjusted to suit him – although, the spelling mistakes in the slides is worse than AT&R. It is unfortunate that these items are not ready to go and we’re now up to day 4 of the subjects with no change in sight. UNE prides itself on 5-star student experience for online, but this really lets UNE down. Students would appreciate the materials being ready to go when classes start.
