Consider the time not wasted. Do not to get fixated with the topic. Listen to the changing rules then switch off the yarping peddlers of doom and listen instead to some Mozart. It makes one much more intelligent.
Did you know that you if you replaced procrastination with actual study you have an 87% of chance of ruining what little joy you have in life?
… All jokes aside…
For multi-taskers like myself, I find the best way to study while in quarantine is to incorporate it with things I love to do, e.g. watching lectures while doing yoga, voice-recording my notes and listening to it while on a walk around the block, or reflecting over what I know by talking to my dough as if were a student while baking 🙂
to ease pressure from assignments allow yourself to use 30 to 60 minutes investigating or researching a field that is completely foreign to you, preferably outside the university network. for example, Microsoft edge with default settings opens with news stories; select one that you would normally not give a second glance then follow any links in the story to see where it leads you within your given time.
remember to take 10 minutes of eye health break from every hour of screen time. this is really important to avoid the discomfort and possible medical intervention for dry eyes syndrome (a misnomer as the first symptom of onset is excessive tears as the eyes attempt to overcome the lack of blinking while you were concentrating on the computer screen).
