We’d like to update you on our Trimester 2 Intensive School offerings amid the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.
To ensure your studies are impacted as little as possible, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to move the majority of our T2 Intensive Schools to online mode, with some exceptions which are outlined below.
Please note all on-campus enrolled students’ classes, tutorials and practicals will continue as scheduled. These changes only affect Intensive Schools for students enrolled in online units.
We know many of our students are in challenging situations as a result of the current outbreak, and we encourage you to reach out if you need some additional support.
Trimester 2 Intensive School arrangements:
Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences:
All Intensive Schools will be delivered in online mode in T2.
Medicine and Health:
All Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Medicine and Pharmacy Intensive Schools will be delivered in online mode in T2 BUT weekly practical lab sessions for HSNS207 will continue on campus in Armidale, as will Intensive Schools for Nursing units (HSNS173, HSNS207, HSNS270, HSNS273, HSNS376, and HSNS576) at the Armidale campus for students enrolled at this campus. Please refer to your Moodle unit for specific details. Students enrolled at the Armidale campus who are able to travel to the Armidale campus without contravention of NSW Health Order restrictions and are comfortable to do so can attend the campus. Students who are unable to attend can apply for a Special Extension of Time via AskUNE to attend at a later date.
Science, Agriculture, Business and Law:
All Law and Business Intensive Schools will be delivered in online mode in T2.
All Environment and Rural Science Intensive Schools will be delivered in online mode in T2.
Science and Technology Intensive Schools will be delivered in online mode in T2, BUT T2 Intensive Schools will continue for Chemistry Units (CHEM110, CHEM120, CHEM220, CHEM250, CHEM302/502, CHEM306/506, FSC301/501) and BCHM341/541) at the Armidale campus. Please refer to your Moodle unit for specific details. Students enrolled at the Armidale campus who are able to travel to the Armidale campus without contravention of NSW Health Order restrictions and are comfortable to do so can attend the campus. Students who are unable to attend can apply for a Special Extension of Time via AskUNE to attend at a later date.
Sports and Exercise Science (ANAT120, EXSC101, EXSC239, EXSC260, EXCS310, EXSC341, EXSC342, and EXSC343) T2 Intensive Schools will continue at the Armidale campus. Please refer to your Moodle unit for specific details. Students enrolled at the Armidale campus who are able to travel to the Armidale campus without contravention of NSW Health Order restrictions and are comfortable to do so can attend the campus. Students who are unable to attend can apply for a Special Extension of Time via AskUNE to attend at a later date.
