This lecture will discuss the impact and implications of human rights during the Covid-19 era. It will examine the global human rights framework and identify the guidance it offers in times of a public health emergency, as well as its silences. It will also address the complex ways in which
the language of human rights has been deployed in the context of this pandemic.
