We are launching our Online Orientation LIVE sessions, starting tonight at 7:30pm (AEDT)!
Live sessions will continue throughout the week, from Monday 12th October to Thursday 15th October, so please check out the full Orientation schedule and note the key dates and times. You can join through the UNE101 unit in your Moodle page (you’ll need to sign in with your UNE student credentials).
Tonight’s session is your welcome and introduction and will include:
· A welcome from the Chancellor, Mr James Harris and Vice-Chancellor & CEO, Professor Brigid Heywood;
· Acknowledgement to Country;
· Student Support to assist you through your study journey; and
· Essentials of Uni and UNE
Throughout the week we’ll also cover topics such as IT & Technology, Moodle (our online learning platform), the First Year Journey by your First Year Advisors, and welcome presentations from various departments including Oorala Aboriginal Centre, UNE International and the Regional Study Centres.
UNE101 features tiles covering everything you need to know for a smooth start to your studies, so use the remainder of your study time this week to work through things at your own pace. You can pop any questions you have in the Forums tile and your Student Advisors will be in touch to help you out.
