As part of UNE’s commitment to a culture that values reporting and finding suitable resolutions, we are offering a new simplified way of lodging a complaint, grievance, or compliment.
Grapevine is an online platform that allows students to make a secure, anonymous report regarding matters such as bullying, harassment, or discrimination, 24/7. Grapevine will also provide users with control over the report lodging process and to check on its progress. The platform will also help UNE collate quality reports. Please be assured that UNE will still manage the complaints-handling process from initial receipt to final outcome. Existing methods for making a complaint will still be available. Students can find more information by visiting the Complaints, Compliments, and Feedback web page. Students might also want to check out UNE’s new Sexual Harm and Harassment Prevention and Response Guidelines. These guidelines have been developed in response to the recommendations from the Respect Now Always initiative and outline UNE’s zero-tolerance approach to sexual harm and harassment, its proactive approach to prevention, and the support available at the University if incidents do occur. |
