We are implementing a new and improved UNE Course Handbook for the opening of Admission for Trimester 1, 2021.
This new handbook will be available from Monday 3 August 2020, and will include all courses available for admissions in 2021, with units being published a few weeks after the courses.
The current course and unit catalogue will remain as the primary website until Trimester 3 2020 has closed for admissions and enrolment.
You will have the option of linking from the current course and unit catalogue to the UNE Course Handbook to view courses for 2021.
Make sure to check out the new handbook here.
When will UNE ever learn? Don’t fix what ain’t broke!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current Course & Unit Catalogue. It is the easiest to use of out of any other university, yet UNE is trying to make theirs more like other universities despite the reduced ease of use and functionality.
It’s just like with the new Moodle dashboard. I used to easily be able to see when new forum posts were being made due to the little notification (green speech bubble) near each unit site on the dashboard. With the new dashboard, that notification is nowhere to be seen, so I’m missing out on heaps of important information because I never know when someone (including the teaching team) has made a forum post.
I agree money spent on these unnecessary changes might help in the saving of $20 M
Hi Tony,

What has happened to the UNE website??? NOOOOOooo! This was the best university website in Australia and New Zealand. Easy to view all relevant information, and with the bonus of history for years gone by. I am so disappointed. Please, please, please go back and please, please, please just add a page for 2021.
Hi Vicki,
Thanks for all your feedback and we’re sorry you’re finding it more challenging to use! If you have any troubles, please contact our IT team by calling 6773 5000 and they can assist you with the new look and finding things, in the mean time we will pass your feedback on to the appropriate team.

This sounds a whole lot like justification for levying the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) at UNE.
