Did you complete your studies in Trimester 1 this year? Were you due to graduate in August 2020? Have you been completing the New England Award throughout your studies?
Due to COVID-19, we have had to cancel the August Graduation Ceremony. You are, however, invited to attend a future graduation ceremony. More information can be found in the email you received from the Graduations Team.
We will provide your graduation documents from Monday 31 August onward. Those who wish to graduate with a New England Award (NEA) will have until 31st July 2020 to complete all the requirements of the award.
You are unable to postpone completing your NEA, even if you have selected to attend a future graduation ceremony, because your New England Award is part of your official graduation documents. Only those who have completed all the requirements are eligible to graduate with the Award.
So, if you haven’t quite finished yet but wish to receive the NEA at your graduation please:
•add and submit any remaining activities through your MyNEA online portfolio;
•email all relevant documentation/proof of completion to nea@une.edu.au;
•submit your final reflective task through MyNEA -> My award/cert;
•email nea@une.edu.au and advise that you intend to complete the requirements.
Please note: if you have not yet started with the New England Award, it is now too late to complete all the requirements in time for the August graduation.
