Scholarships & Financial Assistance Available for Trimester 2: Check to see if you are eligible!

Interested in financial support whilst you study? Scholarships and bursaries are a great way to help manage your financial obligations, alleviating stress or minimising time commitments and allowing you more time to focus on what you’re here for – study!

There are multiple scholarships now open for Trimester 2 applications. Check out the details below and be sure to get in touch with our friendly Scholarships Team if you have any questions. If you’re tossing up whether to apply but worried you won’t quite meet the criteria, we’d encourage you to present your case – you have to be in it to win it!

Thyne Reid UNE Scholarship  Closing date: 31st May

  • Are you planning on living on campus in a residential college for at least one year?
    (From the time college students are able to return to campus)
  • Did you commence your undergraduate study in T1, 2020?
  • Do you come from a regional or remote area?
  • Did you recieve an ATAR of 86.3 or above ?

If you answered yes to these questions, you may be eligible for a sum of $12,000 over two years. You can find more information on the Thyne Reid UNE Country Scholarship and how to apply here.

UNE Foundation Online Student Scholarship  Closing date: 31st May

  • Are you a current online/off-campus student?
  • Do you intend to remain studying online for the duration of your studies?
  • Are you in your 2nd year or above?
  • Are you in financial need and would benefit from financial support?

The UNE Foundation Online Student Scholarship offers up to $5,000 a year for up to 4 years and is available to both full time and and part time students (part-time is paid pro-rata per unit enrolled in) studying in undergraduate, postgraduate and honours capacities.  For more information and details on the application process please click here.

UNE Foundation Online Student Textbook Bursary  Closing date: 7th June

  • Are you a off-campus/online student?
  • Do you intend to remain studying online for the duration of your studies?
  • Are you a continuing student in your second year or above?
  • Do you have a current GPA of atleast 4.0 in your course?

The UNE Foundation Online Student Textbook Bursary is available to undergraduate, postgraduate and honours students who are studying a full or part-time load. 50 $1000 bursaries (payable as credit for UNE Life Campus Books and reedeemable over 3 years) are available.
