Final grades for Trimester 2, 2019 will be available on 1 November.  You will be able to access these through myUNE, your UNE email, or may receive an SMS alert (if you have opted in).

If your grades are not what you were expecting, or you have questions regarding your grade, please get in touch with your Unit Coordinator directly in the first instance.

You can find your Unit Coordinator contact details in the right-hand column of your Moodle unit pages or by searching the relevant unit code in your online Course & Unit Catalogue

If you need to appeal your grade, here’s the process (via AskUNE) to appeal a grade.

What to do if things don’t quite go to plan:

If you’re concerned that your results aren’t going to be quite what you are expecting, or that you’ve failed one or more units and are wanting to chat with someone about your options, give the Student Support Team a call on 02 6773 4430. Alternatively, you can book an appointment online at a time that suits you, and we’ll call you.

Academic Progression Alerts:

If you fail more than 50 percent of the units you attempted this trimester, then you will receive an Academic Progression Alert sometime in the week after results are released. This isn’t the end of the world, but it is an opportunity to get your studies back on track.

Our Student Advisors are here to assist you in developing your Academic Improvement Strategy. This involves identifying the factors which are impacting your studies and organising access to support that is specific to your personal needs.

The first step to this is booking a free and confidential phone appointment for a time that suits you.

Consecutive Academic Progression Alerts:

If you received an alert after Trimester 1 and don’t pass at least 50 percent of undertaken units this Trimester, you will receive your second Progression Alert.

If you’re enrolled in Trimester 3, it’s really important that you get in contact with the Student Support Team, either by calling or booking a phone appointment, to have a chat about the support available and how we can assist you in getting back on track.

Show Cause Notice:

If you received an alert after Trimester 3, 2018, then received a second alert after Trimester 1, 2019 and have not passed at least 50 percent of undertaken units this Trimester 2, then you will receive a Show Cause Notice. If you receive this notice, it is very important that you do respond within the given time frame.

The Student Support Team is here to help you formulate your Academic Improvement Strategy so if you receive a Show Cause Notice then make sure to give us a ring as soon as possible, email us or organise a callback from one of our Student Success Case Managers.
