Indoor ceremonies: Due to the severity of the drought which is currently affecting the Northern Tablelands and greater NSW, the grounds of our Armidale Campus have become parched and vulnerable, rendering them unsuitable to host large events. As a result, the University has made the decision to move the upcoming Graduation ceremonies indoors.
There are three ceremonies which will now be held in our indoor venue, Lazenby Hall. Please note that this decision will not impact the number of ceremonies or the times of events. Graduands are still most welcome to invite friends, family and other guests to attend.
Event parking locations have also changed to assist in protecting our vulnerable grounds, and they will now be located in the following places:
- Eastern carpark – access and mobility shuttle pickup/set down
- Southern carpark
- Western carpark
Shuttle buses will make regular rounds to all event carparks, running to and from the Northern carpark in order to drop off near the graduation Registration tent.
