If you have received a progression alert in Trimester 2, 2018 and a subsequent progression alert in Trimester 3, 2018 and have not met the progression requirements for a third trimester, you will have received a Request to Show Cause.

Here’s where it’s really important!

You are required to respond to a Show Cause Notice by the date noted in your email. However, due to a systems error, responses to Show Cause emails are not getting through to us at our end at the moment.

What to do:

If you have received a Show Cause and have already written your response, please send it to askune@une.edu.au with the same Subject Line as your Show Cause email [URGENT Show Cause Response required to avoid being excluded from your course]

If you need assistance with anything, or have any questions then please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email, giving us a ring on 02 6773 4430, or booking a call from a Student Support Officer

We will let you know as soon as we have fixed the problem and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Does this affect me?

Trimester 1 Results were officially released last Friday (June 28th).

UNE Progression Requirements note that students must pass at least 50 percent of undertaken units per trimester or will incur a Progression Alert, which is a chance to get in contact with our team at Student Support and chat about the services and resources available to you to help get you back on track.

All students who are required to Show Cause have been notified via their UNE Student Email already. If you have not received an email to your student account then the issue with Show Cause responses should not impact you. If you have any concerns, you’re most welcome to give us a ring to check.
