Welcome to week nine. Congratulations, you’re more than half-way there!
Today (29 April) is the census date for Year-long Honours 1 units (39 week units ending 29 November 2019). Make sure you withdraw before midnight to avoid the fee.
For everyone enrolled in standard Trimester 1 units, please keep in mind that next Monday 6 May is the last day to withdraw from your units without Academic Penalty.
If you are considering withdrawing from Trimester 1 units, keep that date in mind, but please also feel free to get in touch with us to discuss your options.
For example, if you feel that you have fallen behind in a unit but could catch up with a bit of extra time or additional support, then it’s a good idea to get in contact with your Unit Coordinator to seek advice about any extensions or other options that may be possible.
If you have been impacted by unexpected personal circumstances and feel that some extra personal support would be welcome, then keep in mind that the UNE Counselling Team are only a phone call away. This is a completely free and confidential service, and you can arrange an appointment by phoning (02) 6773 2897 (9am-4pm weekdays).
Now would also be a good time to start your Exam study schedule. You could start by familiarising yourself with your student responsibilities with regard to exams. We will be providing more exam top tips in weeks to come.
Don’t forget that you can connect with us at the Student Support team via email, Facebook, Twitter and via our blog The Insiders’ Guide. You can also call us on 02 6773 4430. We are here to help, and if we don’t know the answer to your question, we will know who does.
