Welcome to week three. Sheesh. Where did the first two weeks go?

The Trimester 1 Exam Timetable will be released on 22 March.  Make sure you check your exam time, exam location and venue instructions in myUNE. If you can’t sit your exam on the specified date, please give us a call on 1800 560 677 to discuss your options.

UNE has rolled out Online Supervised Exams to a number of units, so you may be able to sit your exam at home at time that suits you. Check your unit, or ask your Unit Coordinator to see if you are eligible.

You’ll probably be starting to think about your assignments about now, which means this is a good time to acquaint yourself with what the Library Subject Guides have to offer. Take it from us, you’ll be glad you did.

You’ll also need to get your referencing game on point. You can download your referencing guide via the Academic Skills Office and get acquainted with that before you get started on your assignments.

If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student, make sure you contact The Oorala Aboriginal Centre.  Oorala also offers a free tutoring service for students, so give them a call if you need some help with your studies.

Census Date (the last day you can withdraw from a Trimester 1  unit without having to pay) is coming up on 25 March, 2019 and the Student Support Team will be running the first Online Toolkit interactive webinar session at 6pm Wednesday 20 March to answer any questions you might have about your studies.

This is your chance to ask the Student Support Team  about your study load, studying online (including navigating Moodle), Census Date (and what this means to you), and/or anything else that you need to get your head around.

To join the session, please click this link at 6PM on Wednesday, 20 March. You don’t have to speak if you don’t want to and you won’t need a webcam, you can even turn your webcam off if you wish.

Have your questions ready; you can take turns to speak to us or just write your questions down.  We’ll also be discussing some frequently asked questions that you may not have thought of, so you don’t need to bring a question if you just want to listen in .
