Hello everyone 🙂

Is it already Tuesday again? It’s Meg here to share with you my top tip of the week. It’s something I strive for in my everyday life but I’ll be honest with you all, it’s not always my greatest strength. So, what in the world am I talking about ….? Time management, of course.

There are so many students I speak with every single day and many are seeking advice on how to balance their studies with everything else that is going on in life. I wish I had a simple answer and could gift you all more hours in the day but unfortunately, we only have 24. Many of us are students, parents, employees, carers … the list goes on. Sometimes it seems impossible to accomplish everything while focusing on our well being but I promise that with good planning, practice and consistency, it is achievable.

So, my top tip this week is my go-to time management tool which you can find here. It’s really simple to use and looks like this:

This tool allows you to input where you are spending your time, how many hours you are sleeping, and then calculates the amount of free study hours per week you are left with. Knowing how many hours per week I have to study really motivates me to get stuck into studies so that I can later reward myself with a session of Netflix.

What do you use to manage your days/weeks/months? How do you balance study with all the other important demands of life? If you have any time management top tips to share, please share in the comments below.

I always like to remind myself that it’s not what you do on the days you want to show up and work that separates you from the rest – it’s what you do on the days you don’t want to show up.

Happy time management-ing!
