This week for the first time, UNE will be running December Graduation Ceremonies, bringing a new option for students who have completed their studies throughout the year, to graduate in the same calendar year.

Ceremonies will be running this Thursday (13th), Friday (14th) and Saturday (15th) for different groups, and will be evening ceremonies for the first time, in order to best care for all parties involved given the heat at this time of year.

This post is a comprehensive guide to the week, with all the information you may need to get ready, and the best people to contact if you’re uncertain about something or find you have questions.

IMPORTANT: Graduates, please remember to check the Ed UNE Facebook page on the morning of your ceremony for final plans and confirmation regarding ceremony details. The Ed UNE Facebook page is where we will notify you if there is to be a wet weather ceremony. Don’t stress though! The only thing that will change in this case is the location, there will be no restriction on guest numbers or tickets needed.

The Guide to Graduation Booklet link (https://www.une.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0020/245207/GUIDE-TO-THE-DECEMBER-GRADUATION-INFO-BOOKLET.pdf) is giving me a Page Not Found error – is there another link where we can access this document?

    Hi Kathi,
I’m so sorry about that! The page was updated and we believe it must have caused a problem with the link, resulting in it being down briefly. It should be back up and running again now (the link in the article), so please let me know if it isn’t.
    Cheers,
    Amy
