The Student Support Team’s Weekly Study Guide – week one – get study tips and tricks

Published On March 5, 2018 | By Luke | Resources

Welcome to week one!

Lectures for trimester 1 start today (Monday 5 March)!

It’s as good a time as any to get to know your study buddies – the Library and Academic Skills Office

We would love to know how you are feeling about your studies. You can use the Vibe (in MyUNE) to tell us how you’re feeling.

If you live off campus and have a local university library, you can check out how to borrow from them at www.une.edu.au/library/borrowing/interlibrary-loans. You can also score some free wifi, on any participating campus,  using eduroam

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, if you need tutoring you can apply for the Targeted Tutorial Assistance program. You can also talk to Oorala Aboriginal Centre all manner of topics including what scholarships are available to you.

One last thing, all students need to complete the Academic Integrity Module. If you haven’t done so, you won’t be able to submit your assignments. So get to it!

There’s also a full day IT outage on Sat 10 March. For tips on how to survive a full-day IT outage, check out this post on the Insider’s Guide.

If you want all this information in the form of a, quite snazzy, poster, you can download it from https://goo.gl/uzHFVi

Don’t forget that you can connect with us at the Student Support team via email, Facebook, and Twitter. We are here to help, and if we don’t know the answer to your question, we will know who does.
