On campus students: become a Student Ambassador to earn New England Award points and up to $1000; apply now
The Student Ambassador Program is an extra-curricular program open to UNE students. Student Ambassadors will represent UNE to current, new and prospective students and to the wider Armidale community.
The aim of the Program is to enhance the on-campus student experience and provide opportunities to develop skills and attributes essential for successful study and future employment opportunities.
During your time as a Student Ambassador you will gain valuable professional skills in:
- Team work
- Public speaking
- Planning and organization
And you’ll be financially rewarded!
The Student Ambassador Program is an approved activity which can be used towards the prestigious New England Award.
10 Ambassadors will be appointed for one year commencing in April 2018.
Who can become an Ambassador?
The Ambassador Program is open to both domestic and international on-campus students who are studying at UNE.
All Student Ambassadors will be expected to sign an Agreement which commits them to the Ambassador Program for one year and outlines the expectations of the role.
What you’ll need to bring
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- the ability to positively promote UNE
- a desire to participate and engage in social and leadership activities
