Remote Student University Success Survey 5 and 6 September; 2nd year students (or higher), educated remotely; register your interest by Friday (1 Sep)

Louise Pollard from the University of Western Australia has contacted UNE about a research fellowship that she is conducting. She is investigating the ways in which universities support students whose permanent home address is located in remote Australian towns and communities.

If you are in your second year or higher and were schooled in a remote or very remote area, you could provide a valuable perspective to inform her research and she would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn about your university experience through an interview at a time that is convenient for you.

All individuals interviewed will remain anonymous and the interview should only take around 45 minutes.

What we need

3 On-campus students available for a face-to-face interview on 5 or 6 September in the Agricultural Education Building.

3 Off-campus students available for a Skype interview on 5 or 6 September

  • You need to have gone to school in a remote or very remote area for the entirety of your school career, and
  • You need to be at least a second year student (students further along in their degrees will be prioritised)

If you fit the bill, and are interested in participating, please email Student Support Team briefly detailing how you fit the above criteria,  by close of Business Friday 1 September 2017.

If you are eligible we will get back to you to organise a suitable time for the interview.
