The Anaiwan Language Symposium will be held on Wednesday 5 July 2017 from 6:00pm8:00pm at the UNE Oorala Centre

Hosted by the Anaiwan Language Revival Program, in partnership with the UNE Indigenous Students Association, this event is a fundraiser based on the Pay The Rent model.

The Pay The Rent concept has been around since the 1970s, a simple way for non-Aboriginal people to demonstrate their solidarity with Aboriginal people — in this case, supporting a grassroots community language revival effort.
