ITD will be performing maintenance on University IT systems and services this Saturday 18 March 2017. The full-day maintenance will commence from 6am and will complete by 6pm and as a result most services will experience periods of disruption.

For staff and on-campus students:

Staff should expect intermittent outages as systems are restarted following maintenance updates. Network connections as well as internet access will be temporarily unavailable in different locations across campus during the day.

For off-campus students:

  • Moodle should NOT be affected.
  • However, we recommend that you download any materials (such as readings and lecture recording) you require over the weekend to your local system to make sure you have access in case of any unplanned outages or disruptions.

If access via MyUNE is not available, please access your units directly in Moodle (http://moodle.une.edu.au)

Student Email (Office365 emails @myune.edu.au) should be available throughout the day.

This event is one of ITD’s scheduled maintenance windows, during which essential work is carried out to enhance and improve University systems.

The schedule of maintenance windows for 2017 can be found on the ITD website (http://www.une.edu.au/staff-current/staff-services/it-services/it-maintenance-dates ).  Please check these dates before planning any events that may require IT services or support.

Please check the ITD service announcements web page regularly for information relating to ITD services interruptions and planned events.  http://blog.une.edu.au/serviceannounce/category/itd-announcements/

Service Desk support will be available during the weekend – please contact servicedesk@une.edu.au or http://une.service-now.com if you are experiencing problems after the maintenance outage.
