The wheels on the bus go into town: bus timetables available; bookmark the link

Published On February 22, 2017 | By Luke | On-Campus, Resources

If you need to get into town, or just between the colleges and the Uni on a rainy day, and you don’t have a car, fuel etc, you could hop on a bus. There are bus stops dotted around campus in a number of places (such as the Northern Carpark, across from the Mary White car park and on either side of Elm avenue near the Safety and Security building). The bus into town will set you back around $3 to $4.

You can find timetables on the bus, at the bus stop, or online at .

Handy article, however the bus let down at least two students this morning who were required to catch the Countrylink train at 8:40 (if it were not for a fellow uni student, who saved the day, in giving them a lift to town, they would of missed the train).

Firstly the map and times of bus ‘stops’ is not very clear. Students this morning were waiting on #485 to go to station, haven’t seen a bus yet! Followed instructions on where to wait for bus (according to map). I rang bus company, not entirely helpful. Just said, ‘Can’t understand how it could be missed, maybe they just missed it”. Have now clarified which bus stop to wait at, but somehow still doesn’t explain where this mornings bus was….maybe an invisible bus. So how reliable is the bus service?

In the first term, buses are every 30mins or so 7am-7pm.
It does state it on the timetable, but it is very easy to overlook!
    Even the bus driver agrees!
