There’s a bunch of events coming up, here’s the details:

  • LAW SEMINAR: Dr Roslyn Blakley CSC, Member, Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Victorian Division) on “Crossing the Professional Divide – Decision making the Tribunal’s way”.   • WRITERS’ READING: A series of four 2-hour Saturday afternoon workshops, analysing great writing to improve your own writing and reading. The tutor will select an extract of text and bring copies for participants. Session 4: JEREMY FISHER. The book for this session is: Our Father Who Wasn’t There by David Carlin, published by Scribe.   • THEATRE: California Suite by Neil Simon Opens Friday 22nd October. “A smash hit comedy” Directed by Jean Freer and Neil Horton. California Suite is a series of one act plays, four in total, set in the same California hotel suite. Jean Freer is directing three of the plays with the last play a great Neil Simon farce being directed by Neil Horton. The two directors have managed to secure a cast of great performers and introducing some new comers to the stage. Well known local actors Gordon Cope, Waine Grafton and Jan Wyles are joined by Jim Harrop,  Jocelyn Harris, Cathie Lamont and Stuart Pavel and by relative newcomers Minnie Rose, Ewan Patterson and Liz Ellis, to bring to Armidale what we know will be a great night’s entertainment with lots of good laughs. Performances begin at the TAS Hoskins Theatre  on Friday 22 October and run through to 6 November. Book early at Dymocks 6771 4558, so you don’t miss out on a great evening’s entertainment.
